Viva is one of the few groups that performs music from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and
80’s. Viva has recorded a number of songs in the past that have made the charts. Such as disco dance hits “Dance
the Night Away” and “New York City Here I Come” that hit the top fifty dance charts in the seventies on
the record label Sal Soul Records, “Hearts and Flowers” that hit the top fifty pop charts in the seventies recorded
on RCA Records.
Viva has also hit the top 100 charts with a remake of “Do
You Wanna Dance” and “My Prayer” in the nineties, recorded on the Moon Stone Record label.In the past year Viva has been the opening group for many national recording acts such as
The Little River Band, Three Dog Night, America, Lou Gramm of Foreigner, Mike Pinera and the Classic All Stars, Gin Blossom,
Bad Company, and The Village People.
